Our beekeeping adventure started off in 2015 with a single hive we watched after while living in San Diego, California. In 2016 we moved to Oro Valley, Arizona (just north of Tucson) and established Sonoran Gold Honey LLC. What started as a hobby fueled by fascination with the bee world has turned into a small business through which we sell the delicious honey our bees create. Over the past 8 years we have acquired more hives through purchasing bees, capturing feral swarms, performing live removals of problem hives, and splitting our own strong colonies. We currently manage our colonies on the 8 acre lot we live on in a rural, wild area. Our goal is to give people access to honey the way bees make it.
